heraz Co. was founded as a food trading company in 1992 as a response to the strict sanction imposed upon Iraq. The sanctions sent shockwaves through the country, creating mass food shortage. The main purpose of Sheraz Co. was to import large amounts of variety food products from Mersin, Turkey into the country and the company played a huge role in overcoming the shortage that was facing the region. In 1996, as business and economy developed, Sheraz Co. opened its first official office in Mersin. With the help of our office in Turkey, Sheraz Co. was able to handle and control most of the logistics and transportation between Turkey and Northern Iraq. After a track-recording success, Sheraz Co. was registered in 2003 in Turkey as an international trading and transportation company.
Sheraz Company is mainly involved in two sectors: trading and transportation. Sheraz imports electronics, construction materials, and supplies various amounts of foodstuff commodities to the local market in Iraq. Moreover, the company is mainly focused on global transportation and working with an expanding network of shipping companies from China, Europe, United States and the Middle East. Our company has placed two clearance agents at every entry in Iraq. With our expertise in customer satisfaction we have achieved long-term partnerships with our clients.
